Psycho-Pass website has released the full trailer for the film. Titled Gekijō-ban Psycho-Pass, the animated feature will have a new story and hits cinemas in Japan on January 9th.
Writer Makoto Fukami (Chotto Kawaii Iron Maiden) announced in July on his blog that he was writing the script for the film with “Gen Urobuchi”. Fukami had collaborated with Urobuchi on the anime , but Tow Ubukata will handle series composition for the second season. FUNimation Entertainment licensed the film, as well as the first season.
The plot of the series revolves around a world where the principle that “everyone is innocent until proven guilty” does not apply, judgment is given by a system that analyzes people's mental state and categorizes them as potential criminals or no, titled “Sibila”.
