One day before the release of the 2nd season of Re:Zero KaraHajimeru Isekai Seikatsu ( Re:Zero Starting Life in Another World ), the official KADOKAWA YouTube channel released a final preview showing a bit of Subaru .
Synopsis
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to repay the favor, but the destiny she carries is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both are killed. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened previously.
Re:Zero, by author Tappei Nagatsuki, originally began publishing the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012, currently featuring 6 arcs and 2 spinoffs. Following its success, Re:Zero received a light novel adaptation in 2014, published by Media Factory under the MF Bunko J imprint, with illustrations by Shin'ichiro Otsuka.
The first season of the anime aired in April 2016 with 25 episodes, produced by studio White Fox and licensed by Crunchyroll .
