A leak known for revealing anime reported on social media that Quintessential Quintuplets ( Gotoubun no Hanayome ) will get a new anime project soon.
Therefore, the new project will have an original story supervised by Negi Haruba . Therefore, the story takes place with Fuutarou and the quintuplets during their honeymoon, not portrayed in detail in the original manga.
Synopsis The Quintessential Quintuplets:
“The Quintessential Quintuplets” is an anime and manga that revolves around the life of Futaro Uesugi, a high school student experiencing financial difficulties. He is hired as a private tutor for the Nakano sisters, identical quintuplets who have below average academic performance. The story unfolds around Futaro's efforts to help the sisters improve their grades and prepare for their university entrance exams.
The Nakano sisters are: Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki. Each of them has distinct and unique personalities. Throughout the series, Futaro must face challenges to get closer to each sister, as they initially see him as an intruder in their lives.
Finally, the first season of the anime premiered in January 2019 and had 12 episodes. The second season of the anime aired from January to March 2021.
