The official Twitter Tsukiuta franchise announced that the previously announced Rabbits Kingdom the Movie June 14th .

The Twitter account also revealed four more cast members.
The new cast includes:
- Shintarō Asanuma as Lapin, a minister of the Black Rabbit Kingdom
- Kaoru Marimura as Kalavinka, the Queen of the Bird Tribe
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Rōen, King of the Wolf Tribe
- Shinnosuke Musashi as Mousse, King of the Rat Kingdom
The film was previously scheduled for release in December 2023, but was postponed to early summer 2024 due to "various circumstances".
The film's team includes director Masayoshi Ozaki , screenwriter Ryūichirō Itsumi , storyboard artist Akiko Nakano , chief animation director Taeko Satō , art director Minoru Akiba , original character designer Jiku , and animation studio Studio Sign .
The film is the first project in the celebrations for the franchise's 10th anniversary. The film adapts the fifth theatrical production, which told a "what if" story taking place in a "country somewhere".
