Rance 01, the game from Alice Soft, has announced that it will be adapted for Japanese screens. Director Takashi Nishikawa (Strange+) will direct this new series together with the animation studio Seven (Kiss×sis, To Love-Ru).

Producer Taku Horie has announced that staff members are being recruited for the new anime project.

Alice released the adult role-playing game Rance 01 on September 27, 2013. The game is a complete remake of its 1989 predecessor, Rance. The original game inspired several sequels and spinoffs, as well as a previous Rance: Rance: Sabaku no Guardian.
