The official Twitter for the Ranking of Kings has released a promotional video and poster for the franchise's special episode titled Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage .
The teaser confirms the episode's premiere for April 2023.
The episode will tell a story not seen in the original anime and will feature the returning cast and crew.
The Ranking of Kings anime premiered in October 2021 and ran for two continuous cours (quarters of a year).
Synopsis
Son of giants, the expectation that Prince Bojji would be a great king is dashed when the kingdom encounters a small, mute king with no talent for swordplay. But a fateful encounter completely changes his destiny. Accompanied by Kage, a shadow on the ground, Bojji sets out on an adventure of self-discovery and severe challenges.
