The official website for the 2nd season of the Ranma ½ anime announced a new visual and trailer this Wednesday (17). The release outside of Japan will take place on Netflix .

The second season of the Ranma ½ remake will be released on October 4, 2025, animated by studio MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen). Netflix also distributes the series exclusively in several countries.
Synopsis of the anime Ranma ½:
Ranma Saotome and Akane Tendo from the Tendo Dojo are engaged by their parents' decision. But Ranma faces a unique problem… During his training in China, he fell into the cursed Jusenkyo springs, acquiring the peculiar characteristic of transforming into a girl when wet with cold water and back into a boy with hot water. Get ready for this action-packed romantic comedy full of mishaps, starring Ranma, Akane, and a vibrant cast of unique characters!
However, the work was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Sunday from September 1987 to March 1996 and compiled into 38 volumes by Shogakukan. Studio Deen adapted the manga into two anime series: the first with 18 episodes and the second, Nettōhen, with 143 episodes. Finally, Fuji Television aired both series between 1989 and 1992. In addition, they released 14 OVAs and three films. In 2011, Nippon Television broadcast a live-action special.
