During the Aniplex Online Fest 2023 , new promotional art for the film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Girl . Therefore, the second film in the project, which continues the anime will premiere on December 1st.

The film project aims to adapt the eighth and ninth volumes of the light novel.

Sōichi Masui is returning to direct the project at CloverWorks . Masahiro Yokotani is also back to compose and write the script, and Satomi Tamura is returning as character designer.

Sister Venturing Out film premiered in Japan on June 23rd this year.
