A sequel to the anime Rascal Does Not Dream , the sequel will be shown in theaters.
The sequel will adapt the eighth and ninth novels in the franchise, which would be: Rascal Does Not Dream of a Sister Venturing Out and Rascal Does Not Dream of a Knapsack Kid .
The announcement, however, did not directly specify the duration of the project.
Soichi Masui is returning to direct the project at CloverWorks . Masahiro Yokotani is returning to compose and write the script, and Satomi Tamura is returning as character designer.
The returning cast includes:
- Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa
- Asami Seto as Mai Sakurajima
- Yurika Kubo as Kaede Azusagawa
- Nao Toyama as Tome Koga
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Rio Futaba
- Maaya Uchida as Nodoka Toyohama
- Inori Minase as Shoko Makinohara
The Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Seishun Buta Yaro wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai) anime premiered in Japan in October 2018 and aired a total of 13 episodes.
