Rascal Does Not Dream ( Seishun Buta Yarou franchise has released a new special visual focused on Mai Sakurajima . The image celebrates the conclusion of the anime and is also accompanied by a promotional video dedicated to the character.
The artwork is part of a commemorative project highlighting central characters from the story. This is the fourth illustration released, featuring the phrase: “…I’m surprised. Can you still see me?”. The fifth piece will be revealed on April 26th.
The feature film Seishun Buta Yarou wa Dear Friend no Yume wo Minai premieres on October 16, 2026. The production adapts the final arc of the work and concludes the journey begun in high school, advancing to the university phase of the characters.
Created by Hajime Kamoshida , the title is a drama light novel published by Dengeki Bunko . The plot follows phenomena known as "Adolescence Syndrome," which affect young people inexplicably.
