anime series, titled Re:_Hamatora (Reply Hamatora), will premiere in July of this year on TV Tokyo and other channels.
Seiji Kishi, the main director of the first season of the anime, is listed as the director of the sequel, along with studio Lerche. The cast is returning, as are several other staff members.
The event will feature exclusive scenes from the anime at Pacifico Yokohama on July 13th. People who purchase the first two Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes of the first season will receive advance registration forms for event tickets.
The first season ended in March with a teaser image saying, "To Be Continued." The official Twitter account added that the project was still ongoing.
