The latest game in the Resident Evil franchise has been announced and has received new images and news. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Gamesmaster magazine , featuring Claire Redfield and Barry Burton's daughter, Moira, as the protagonists of the next game in the series. These images were leaked and made their way onto the Capcom-Unity Forum. PushStartPlay confirmed that the images are legitimate and that the magazine had the opportunity to interview Revelations 2 producer Michiteru Okabe.
Claire Redfield will return as a playable character, alongside Barry Burton's daughter, Moira Burton. The game begins with the two girls waking up on an island prison after being kidnapped. Like the first Revelations, this sequel will introduce a new enemy type, the "Afflicted," who "may look like zombies, but are, in fact, something else entirely."
In its predecessor, there were the Ooze, creatures created from infection with the T-Abyss Virus. If they're not zombies, we can expect the introduction of a new virus in this game.
Revelations 2 will feature 1080p resolution and 60fps. These features are expected to be present in the PC version, PS4, and Xbox One.
