This Saturday, fans received new information regarding the 4th season of the anime . A new visual was presented revealing a new character named Shaula , voiced by Fairouz Ai.
Shaula (シャウラ) is the apprentice of the sage who participated in the defeat and sealing of the Witch of Envy 400 years . She is portrayed as a young woman who is pure at heart and dedicated to helping others with various tasks. Extremely loyal to Flugel , Shaula, however, possesses an impulsive and carefree demeanor, which makes her unsuitable for missions requiring planning or strategic thinking.
Therefore, the release of the 4th season of the anime Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- will take place in 2026, animated by the studio WHITE FOX .
Synopsis Re:Zero:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to repay the favor, but the destiny she carries is more than Subaru can imagine. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened previously.
Re:Zero is a web novel written Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka . The duo launched the series online in 2012, and Media Factory published its light novel adaptation in January 2014. The series also received a manga adaptation in July 2014 and an anime adaptation in April 2016.
The production split the second season into two parts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, releasing the first part in July 2020 and the second in January 2021. The third season premiered on October 2, 2024.
