The most recent chapter of the manga by Shizumu Watanabe and Okushō revealed on Twitter that the work entered its final arc this Thursday from the last chapter.
Kodansha Comics describes the manga as follows:
Like many of his peers, Ataru Kashiwagi is hooked on the latest social networking service, Real Account. But one day, Ataru and nearly 10,000 other people are sucked into the Real Account Zone, where they become players in a series of deadly games.
The basic rules of these games are simple – if you lose all your followers, you die in real life, and if you die, all your followers die too. As these depraved games decimate the players around him, Ataru must use quick thinking and his knowledge of the Real Account to win each round and return to the real world.
But when true friendship determines whether he lives or dies, can Ataru really survive when the only people he can count on are his Internet friends?
Manga (Kono Kanojo wa Fiction desu) creator Watanabe and writer Okushō launched Real Account in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen magazine in the February 2014 issue.
The manga moved to Weekly Shōnen Magazine in January 2015, but moved again in June 2018. Kodansha shipped the manga's 22nd volume on January 9.
Kodansha Comics released the manga's omnibus volume containing volumes nine through 11 last November. The manga is inspiring a live-action film adaptation.
Ren Kanan will write a Real Account 0 novel based on the manga that will ship on June 7th.
