Reborn to Master the Blade – Premiere Date Revealed in 2nd Promotional Video

The official website for the anime Reborn to Master the Blade: From Hero-King to Extraordinary Squire features the second promotional video, opening and ending songs, more cast and staff members, and the January 9 premiere date for the adaptation.

The new promotional video features the opening theme song for the anime "DAY1" by AUO featuring MORISAKI WIN. Yui Nishio will perform the ending theme song "Self Hug Big Love."

Naoyuki Kuzuya (Saiyuki Gaiden, Wild Adapter, Jūza Engi Engetsu Sangokuden) is directing the anime at Comet. Mitsutaka Hirota (Rent-A-Girlfriend, Edens Zero, Anime-Gataris) is in charge of the series scripts. Reiichirou Oufuji (animation director for Fairy Ranmaru Bank) is designing the characters, with Tomoko Miyakawa, Rion Matsuda, and Maki Fukui serving as sub-character designers. Oufuji, Miyakawa, and Matsuda are also the main animation directors, alongside Masayuki Nomoto. Kenta Higashiohji (Super Shiro, Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle) is composing the music. Fumiyuki Go is the sound director, while Emi Takanashi is credited for sound effects.

Synopsis

Hero-King Inglis's dying wish is to live as a warrior again. However, when he awakens, he realizes he's been reborn as a girl into a noble family! Even when rejected from knighthood, she sets out to be the most extraordinary squire who ever lived.

Hayaken then began serializing the original novel's story on the Shousetsu ni Narou in March 2019. Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint is then publishing the printed novels with illustrations by Nagu. Moto Kuromura is serializing the manga on Hobby Japan's Comic Fire website.
