Synopsis

The peak of human civilization has come and gone, leaving only ruins in its wake. Society and science now struggle to rebuild, rediscovering fragments of knowledge in powerful ancient artifacts that defy comprehension. These relics from the “Old World” can make the fortune of those who find them, provided ancient security systems and rogue bioweapons don't kill the relic hunters first. Akira, a young street orphan, embarks on a journey to become one of these hunters in order to escape his brutal life in the slums. Unprepared, malnourished, and poorly armed, Akira would be lucky to return alive from the ruins – until an encounter with Alpha, a mysterious and ghostly woman, changes his destiny forever. Alpha needs a hunter, and she is willing to train Akira to become one.
