The technical staff of the anime Record of Ragnarok II, the second season of the anime Record of Ragnarok (Shuumatsu no Valkyrie), premiered a new promotional video.
The video announces the season's theme song artists (and features the opening theme song), reveals that the new season will have 15 episodes divided into two parts, and finally, the premiere of the new season on January 26th on Netflix.
Singer Minami sings the opening theme song “Rude, Loose Dance” and Masatoshi Ono sings the ending theme song “Inori” (Prayer).
The first 10 episodes will premiere on Netflix on January 26, 2023, and the remaining five episodes will premiere in late 2023.
The new cast includes:

- Subaru Kimura as Raiden Tameemon
- Yuichi Nakamura as Buddha

Synopsis:
The story begins when the gods call a meeting to decide whether to let humanity live or die. A Valkyrie proposes letting the gods and humanity fight one last battle. Thirteen gods will fight against 13 human champions in single battles, as well as to decide whether humanity lives or dies.
The manga was published in November 2017, with the 4th volume published in July 2019.
The first season premiered globally on Netflix in June 2021.
