A new promotional image for the 2nd season of the anime Record of Ragnarok ( Shuumatsu no Walküre ) has been revealed. According to the official website , the series premieres on October 1st .

Synopsis:

The story begins when the gods call a meeting to decide whether to let humanity live or die. A Valkyrie proposes letting the gods and humanity fight one last battle. Thirteen gods will fight against 13 human champions in single battles, as well as to decide whether humanity lives or dies.

The of Ragnarok manga was published in November 2017, with the 4th volume being published in July 2019.
