Synopsis:
After a worsening of her condition, where she almost dies, Himari is saved by a penguin hat. And since then, she seems to be possessed by an entity that demands that the family go in search of the Penguindrum (penguin drum), as payment for the young woman's recovery.
The anime was produced by the Brain's Base under the direction of Kunihiko Ikuhara ( Shoujo Kakumei Utena ).
