Reign of the Seven Spellblades – 2nd Trailer for the anime has been released

The team behind the anime 'Reign of the Seven Spellblades' (Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai Suru) revealed a second trailer for it this Friday (02).

The trailer reveals the anime's opening theme song, "Kenka" (Sword Flower), by Kujira Yumemi feat. Mimizuku and Fukurō, and also reveals the anime's premiere date as July 7th.

In addition, the video also announces that 'Kujira Yumemi feat. Tsumushachi' will perform the anime's ending theme song, "Aimu".

The film is directed by Masato Matsune at JCStaff studio, with a screenplay by Miyuki Lear and character designs by Suwa.

Therefore, both authors, Bokuto Uno and Ruria Miyuki, began publishing the novels through Kadokawa Publishing House 's Dengeki Bunko in September 2018. The publisher released the seventh volume on June 10, followed by the eighth on September 10 in Japan.

The work has been adapted into a manga by Sakae Esuno , which has been published in the magazine Monthly Shounen Ace since May 2019.

Synopsis

The story takes place in spring, where we are introduced to Kimberly Magic Academy as the new students begin their first year. A boy, dressed in a black robe with a white cane and a sword, approaches the prestigious school. But this young man – Oliver – must form a bond with a katana-wielding girl named Nanao if he wants to survive the dangers he will face at this school.
