Kadokawa announced this Wednesday (09) that the light novel “Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo” (I'll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History), by Izumi Þ̄kido, is receiving an anime adaptation.

Synopsis
The story then focuses on a girl named Alicia who hates "proper" heroines. Her wishes come true when she's reincarnated as a villain in her favorite otome games. She strives to be the most evil villain in history. However, the more she tries to be a villain, the more the prince seems to like her...
Þ̄kido debuted the series on the “Shōsetsuka ni Narō” website in December 2018. Þ̄kido also released the light novel with illustrator Hayase in 2020. The fourth volume of the series arrived in Japan in September 2022, and the fifth volume is released this Saturday.
Hoshi launched a manga adaptation in Kadokawa's B's-LOG COMIC magazine in September 2020. Kadokawa then published the manga's third volume in September 2022, and will release the fourth volume on Saturday.
Ultimately, the franchise has over 850,000 copies in circulation, including digital copies.
