Riot Games has announced that Valorant will have an official replay system starting in September. Anna Donlon, head of Valorant Studios, confirmed the news in a statement on Riot's social media. The tool addresses one of the community's main requests and marks an important change in the game's competitive experience.

The feature will allow players to review matches, analyze strategies, and share content more easily. Riot plans to make the feature available before the start of the Valorant Champions, an international tournament scheduled to take place between September 12th and October 5th. Although the exact date has not yet been set, the developer has assured that the update will arrive in the game in September.

Game changes accompany feature launch

In addition to the replay system, other important updates are planned for the coming months. One of the highlights will be the rework of the character Tejo, who will undergo adjustments in update 10.09. Riot's decision was motivated by complaints about the imbalance caused by the agent's explosive abilities.

The developer intends to reduce the power of Tejo's rockets to balance his performance with that of other initiators. According to the team responsible, the character had been generating disproportionate situations in competitive matches, which required a firmer response from the studio.

Update 10.08, released this week, has already brought changes to other agents. Brimstone, Astra, and Yoru have undergone performance adjustments, reinforcing Riot's commitment to keeping the game competitive and balanced. These changes are part of an ongoing process of reviewing the Valorant meta.

Five-year anniversary inspires celebratory resources

To celebrate Valorant's fifth anniversary, Riot Games has brought back elements from Episode 1, including classic tracks from the main menu and character selection screen. The music will be temporarily available in versions 10.08 and 10.09 as a way to honor the game's journey since its launch.

Another highlight of the new phase is the Gift System, which allows players to send items from the Featured Shop directly to friends. The feature is still in its initial phase, but Riot has already indicated that it intends to expand the feature to other types of products in the future.

These updates show that the company is attentive to community demands and seeks to offer consistent new features. The set of changes indicates preparation for the arrival of the major 11.00 update, scheduled for the end of Act III.

The next chapter begins with the distribution of keychains

With the transition to version 11.00, Riot plans to distribute Ranked Keychains, cosmetic items that recognize players' performance in competitive seasons. This new feature promises to energize the scene and further encourage participation in ranked matches.

Expectations for the new cycle are growing as the developer gradually reveals the next steps. The promise is of a more complete Valorant, with tools that enhance gameplay, strengthen the social aspect, and celebrate the franchise's historical milestones.

Meanwhile, players are closely following the weekly updates, aware that the game will undergo significant changes in the coming months. With replays, reworks, and celebratory events, Valorant is entering a new phase.
