During the event, hundreds of fans went to the booth hoping to get a copy of Rikuta Kiyoki's book. Eventually, the artist's booth drew such a long line that it became a trending topic on social media.
Someone drew the size and shape of the queue on a map of the venue to see how much space the crowd covered. According to the drawing, the queue started in the parking lot and on the venue's terrace, extending all the way to the point of sale.
The limited edition of the book was priced at 5,000 yen (R$ 174.22), an affordable price for many Japanese. However, some people bought the book solely to resell it for an average of 30,000 yen (R$ 1,024.49). Reports indicate that only one copy was sold per person, but this did not stop them from reselling it to make a larger profit.
Synopsis:
The story revolves around Hitori Goto, nicknamed "Bocchi-chan," a lonely high school girl who loves playing the guitar and spends her days playing alone at home. However, she joins the "Kessoku Band," led by its drummer Nijika Ijichi. She's not used to playing in front of people, so can Bocchi become the band's guitarist?
