Resident Evil 3 Remake sold 2 million copies in 5 days

Capcom has released sales figures for the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise. Official information shows that the remake has sold 2 million copies in five days, including units transferred to stores and digital sales for PC , PS4 , and Xbox One .

The original version of the game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis , has sold 3.5 million units since its release.

Additionally, Capcom also announced that RE 2, the acclaimed 2019 remake, has reached 6.5 million sales since launch.

Ultimately, the franchise reached 95 million units sold between the launch of the first game in 1996 and December 31, 2019.
