Capcom brought sales data for the new game in the Resident Evil franchise. Official information shows that in five days, the remake reached 2 million copies sold, including units transferred to stores and digital sales of the game for PC , PS4 and Xbox One .
The original version of the game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis , has sold 3.5 million units since its release.
In addition, Capcom also announced that RE 2, the acclaimed 2019 remake, has reached 6.5 million sales since launch.
Finally, the franchise reached 95 million units sold between the launch of the first game, in 1996, and December 31, 2019.
