Capcom has released sales figures for the new Resident Evil game PC , PS4 , and Xbox One .
The original version of the game, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from 1999, has sold 3.5 million units since its release.
In addition, Capcom also announced that RE 2, the acclaimed 2019 remake, has reached 6.5 million sales since its release.
Ultimately, the franchise reached 95 million units sold between the release of the first game in 1996 and December 31, 2019.
