Previously, CAPCOM also revealed the Deluxe and Collector of the game. The Deluxe will contain additional content such as bonus costumes, weapons and a treasure map. While Collector's A will only be available in a physical version and will include the content of the Deluxe, as well as a Leon action figure, a physical map and an art book.
Those who pre-order the game will receive the “Accessory Case: Gold” and “Special Charm: Handgun Ammo” items, while those who pre-order the Deluxe and Collector's Edition will receive a “Brief Case: Classic ” and a “Special Amulet: Green Herb”.
The new Resident Evil 4 will launch for PlayStation 5 , Xbox Series X | S and PC on March 24, 2023. CAPCOM says the game will have a “reimagined storyline” and a new graphic art style based on the company’s proprietary engine.
CAPCOM released the original Resident Evil 4 game for the GameCube and later the PlayStation 2 in 2005. Since then, the company has ported the game to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS devices, and Android and PC. The game launched on Switch in May 2019, and received a new virtual reality version for the “Oculus Quest 2” system in October 2021.
The game's story focuses on agent Leon S. Kennedy as he tries to rescue the US president's daughter.
