We have the first images from the new Resident Evil film : Welcome to Raccoon City . According to the website IGN , the first 'trailer' should come out these days.

The new film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts ( The Strangers: Night Hunt ), set in 1998 and will be the origin story of the franchise, showing the secrets of Spencer Mansion and Raccoon City. Also in the cast are Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield and Donal Logue as Brian Irons.
Finally, the film Resident Evil hits theaters December 2nd .
