We have the first images from the new Resident Evil movie : Welcome to Raccoon City . According to IGN , the first trailer should be released these days.

The new film is written and directed by Johannes Roberts ( The Strangers: Night Hunt ), set in 1998, and will tell the origin story of the franchise, revealing the secrets of the Spencer Mansion and Raccoon City. Also in the cast are Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, and Donal Logue as Brian Irons.

Finally, the Resident Evil hits theaters on December 2nd .
