A new Survival horror Resident Evil franchise has been announced. The film is titled Resident Evil: Death Island and follows protagonist Leon on a rescue mission, while Chris investigates a zombie outbreak.

Therefore, the new CGI reveals that Jill Valentine from the controversial game Resident Evil 3 – Remake will be present in the film.
Synopsis:
Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, BSAA agent Chris Redfield is investigating a zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the cause of the infection cannot be identified. At first, the only thing the victims have in common is that they all recently visited Alcatraz Island.
Directed by Eiichiro Hasumi ( Assassination Classroom ) with a script by Makoto Fukami ( Psycho-Pass ).
The film arrives via streaming and DVD/Blu-ray in mid-2023. Furthermore, the film is a direct continuation of Resident Evil: Vendetta.
