It was revealed through the official Sony channel, 8 minutes of the CGI film of Resident Evil: Death Island . Therefore, the film was released on Blu-ray, 4K UHD and Digital on July 25th.

Eiichir Hasumi is directing the film, while Makoto Fukami is writing the script. Additionally, additional announced staff include Rei Kondo, responsible for the film's music, and CG director Tomohiro Shimizu.
Resident Evil: Death Island is the sequel to the film Resident Evil: Vendetta, which was shown in theaters in the United States and Canada in June 2017. The film premiered in Japanese theaters in May 2017, and is then the third animated film in GC. to the franchise, following 2008's Resident Evil: Degeneration and 2012's Resident Evil: Damnation.
Synopsis
DSO agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to rescue Dr. Antonio Taylor from kidnappers when a mysterious woman foils his pursuit. Therefore, the only thing the victims have in common is that they all recently visited Alcatraz Island. Following this clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.
Finally, the premiere took place on July 7th in Japan .
