The famous gaming website IGN made a comparison video between the versions of Resident Evil: Remake on the classic GameCube console and RE: HD Remaster on PS4. Hirabayashi said the goal with this remaster is to bring back the original [Resident Evil] experience in HD. The pacing along with the flow of the original game is an inherent part of its spooky atmosphere, so we made the decision not to interrupt this time.
As already announced, the game Resident Evil HD Remaster arrives in its HD version for PlayStation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in early 2015. In Europe and the Americas, the title's launch will be exclusively digital.
Japan is also included in the digital releases, but exclusively in the territory, CAPCOM will release special editions of Resident Evil HD Remaster on disc for the PlayStation 3.
