CAPCOM has announced that Resident Evil Re:Verse , the new game in the franchise that will launch for PlayStation 4 , Xbox One and PC, and that comes alongside its game Resident Evil Village, has been delayed until July 2022 , the reason for the delay according to the company is “so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gaming experience.” The company will reveal more details later.
Resident Evil Village is therefore the newest release in the survival horror game series. The game was released on May 7th for the platforms: PS4 , PlayStation 5 , Xbox Series X | S , Xbox One and PC ( Steam and Stadia ).
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard , the previous game in the franchise, released for PlayStation 4 , Xbox One , and PC in January 2017. The game released in Japan under the title Biohazard 7: Resident Evil .
