The latest game announced in the Resident Evil franchise has received new images and news. Resident Evil: Revelations 2 had several images leaked from an article in the November issue of the British magazine Gamesmaster, featuring Claire Redfield and Barry Burton's daughter, Moira, as protagonists of the next game in the series. These images ended up on the Capcom-Unity forum. The website PushStartPlay confirmed that the images are legitimate and that the magazine had the opportunity to interview the producer of Revelations 2, Michiteru Okabe.
Claire Redfield will return as a playable character, alongside Barry Burton's daughter, Moira Burton. The game begins with the two girls waking up on an island with a prison, after having been kidnapped. Like the first Revelations, this sequel will introduce a new type of enemy, the "Afflicted," who "may look like zombies, but are in fact something entirely different."
In its predecessor, there were the Ooze, creatures created from infection with the T-Abyss Virus. If they aren't zombies, we can expect the introduction of a new virus in this game.
Revelations 2 will have 1080p resolution and run at 60fps. These attributes should be present in the PC version and in the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
