New promotional art for the long-awaited third season of the anime Re:Zero ( -Starting Life in Another World- ) was released on the official website. According to the publication, no other details were revealed.

So in March of this year, we had the official announcement of the continuation of the anime with the intro trailer:
Synopsis:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to return the favor, but the fate she bears is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both are killed. He then discovers he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened before.
Re:Zero by author Tappei Nagatsuki originally began publishing the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012, featuring 6 arcs and 2 spinoffs. After its success, Re:Zero gained a light novel version in 2014, but it was published by Media Factory at MF Bunko J, with illustrations by Shin'ichiro Otsuka.
The first season of the anime aired in April 2016 with 25 episodes, produced by White Fox and licensed by Crunchyroll . Finally, the second season had two parts and premiered in 2020 and 2021.
