This Saturday, fans received new information about the fourth season of the anime Re:ZERO. A new visual was released revealing a new character named Shaula , voiced by Fairouz Ai.
Shaula (シャウラ) is the apprentice of the sage who participated in the defeat and sealing of the Witch of Envy 400 years . She is portrayed as a young woman, pure at heart, and dedicated to helping others in various tasks. Extremely loyal to Flugel , Shaula, however, has an impulsive and carefree behavior, which makes her unsuitable for missions that require planning or strategic thinking.
Therefore, the release of the 4th season of the anime Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- takes place in 2026 with animation by the WHITE FOX .
Synopsis Re:Zero:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to return the favor, but the fate she is carrying is more than Subaru can imagine. He then discovers he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened before.
Re:Zero is a web novel written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka . The duo launched the series in 2012 on the internet, and the publisher Media Factory published its light novel adaptation in January 2014. The series also gained a manga in July 2014 and an anime in April 2016.
The production split the second season into two parts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, releasing the first part in July 2020 and the second in January 2021. The third season premiered on October 2, 2024.
