Even with the start of the season, Re:Zero received strong praise, surpassing the second part of the second season of Mushoku Tensei on the MyAnimeList website. With an impressive rating of 8.96 , Re:Zero takes the lead among anime in this genre.
Mushoku Tensei, which has always been a favorite, now occupies second place with a score of 8.65. The first part of the second season of the series appears soon after, with a score of 8.45. The debut episode of the new season of Re:ZERO, released on October 4, 2024, was 90 minutes long, the same episode shown at Anime Expo 2024.
