Synopsis:
Naofumi Iwatani, an uncharismatic otaku who spends his days playing games and manga, suddenly finds himself summoned to a parallel universe. Iwatani discovers that he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons, tasked with saving the world from a terrible prophecy.
Crunchyroll announced in 2019 that The Rising of the Shield Hero would have a second and a third season of the anime in the future.
