A first-year student at Sakurakokoro Academy. Besides being incredibly beautiful, she's the daughter of a prominent political figure, making her the most admired girl in school. In her free time, she dedicates herself to the drums, playing alone in the old music room of the abandoned school building.
Therefore, the anime Rock Is a Lady's Modesty premieres in the April 2025 season with animation by the studio BN Pictures . The direction is by Shinya Murata , script by Shougo Yasukawa and character design by Risa Miyatani .
Synopsis Rock Is a Lady's Modesty:
Ririsa Suzunomiya , a young woman who attends the prestigious Sakura no Kokoro Girls' Academy , a school where only the finest ladies are allowed to study. She is known by all as one of the most exemplary young ladies and strives to earn the title of "Noble Lady." However, there is a secret: she was not born into a noble family, but joined the Suzunomiya family a year ago, after her mother's remarriage. To meet her mother's expectations, Ririsa represses her true nature and hides her long-held passion for rock and guitar, trying to behave like a perfect lady. However, one day, she runs into Otowa Kurogane, a young woman admired by all, and by chance sees her playing the drums.
Finally, the manga is written and illustrated by Hiroshi Fukuda. It has been serialized in Hakusensha's seinen manga magazine Young Animal since October 2022.
