The rumors have been confirmed! The popular manga “Rooster Fighter” had its anime adaptation announced today, Friday (25).

Therefore, the announcement took place during the San Diego Comic-Con 2024 in partnership with VIZ Media .

Synopsis:

Three years ago, mutant demons began appearing in Japan. While some are harmless or even helpful to humans, others cause problems. Created from humans suffering from extreme emotional distress or unresolved trauma, these mutant demons began wreaking havoc as they evolved to become more intelligent and dangerous. But a lone rooster named Keiji wanders through various cities in Japan, defeating the mutant demons he encounters along the way. His ultimate goal is to find and kill the mutant known as "The White Demon," who killed his sister, to avenge her death.

Finally, the manga is written and illustrated by Shū Sakuratani, and has been serialized on Hero's Inc's Comiplex manga website since December 2020.
