This year's 45th issue of Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump announced that characters Rui and Akaza will join the Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles game as playable characters.
The game will add the characters as part of its first free update, a total of three updates are planned to happen after launch.
The game will have a digital deluxe edition that includes unlock keys for the characters in school outfits , butterfly mansion outfits for Tanjiro , Zenitsu and Inosuke , 8,000 extermination points and early access to the game starting on October 13th .
Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles will launch for PlayStation 5 , PlayStation 4 , Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One , and PC via Steam on October 15th of this year.
