Although no release date has been confirmed yet, the source stated that Black Clover should return from its hiatus soon. The anime premiered in 2017 and had continuous production up to episode 170, which adapted Yuki Tabata up to chapter 270. Since then, Studio Pierrot and no other official source have given any indication that the anime will return anytime soon.

However, if the leak is correct, the anime's return should be officially announced by Shonen Jump or Pierrot this year or in 2024. If the anime returns, Black Clover may also have a chance of getting a split-season release instead of a continuous production.

Synopsis:

The story takes place in a world where magic is everything. Asta and Yuno are two orphans who were abandoned together at a church in the village of Hage. They then grew up together and promised each other that they would become the Wizard King, the most powerful of all wizards. However, they have very different personalities; Yuno is a naturally gifted magical prodigy, and Asta is the only person in the entire world who is unable to use magic.
