Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has recently received a new leak online, suggesting that the final arcs of the manga will be adapted into films. This potential film could be confirmed after the release of the anime's 4th season, which is expected in 2024.

According to the leak, Demon Slayer will have one or more films to adapt the Infinity Castle , the penultimate arc of the manga. The 4th season of the anime will adapt the Hashira Training . Therefore, it's possible that Ufotable will indeed decide to adapt the final arcs into a series of films as a grand finale for the anime. However, we'll have to wait until next year to find out.

Synopsis:

After defeating Upper Moon 6 in the Entertainment District, Tanjiro needs to go to the blacksmith village to forge a new sword, since his old weapon was damaged. However, on the way, he encounters new demons sent by Muzan, the main villain of the story, with the mission of killing the blacksmiths. Without the blacksmiths, the demon slayers will have no swords to fight the demons. So Tanjiro and his friends must fight the Upper Moon demons again to stop them.

Thus, the first season of Demon Slayer premiered in April 2019 , becoming a successful phenomenon with the movie. The second season premiered on December 5 , 2021 in Japan. Finally, the third season premiered on Crunchyroll after the release of the movie To the Swordsmith Village – World Tour on February 2 in Japan.
