According to rumors, MAPPA will take over One Punch Man's animation after the final episode of Attack on Titan . This would give the studio more time to take on a new animation and release it in 2024. However, some people doubt the rumor due to the lack of confirmation from official sources.
Many people believed the 2022 leak, but One Punch Man's official Twitter account warned fans not to trust online rumors. So now we just have to wait for official sources to comment to find out if the news is true or false.
Synopsis:
The plot revolves around Saitama, an ordinary man who decides to train to become a superhero, setting out to save people from monsters and other threats that arise. He has become so strong that he often ends his fights in seconds, landing just one punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can stand toe-to-toe with him.
The first season premiered in 2015, directed by Shingo Natsume directed by Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter). The second season premiered in January 2019, containing 12 episodes with animation by JCStaff (Toradora!).
