A rumor alert suggests that a third season of the anime Re:Zero ( kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu ) is in production. According to the leak, the new season would have 50 episodes, and the character designs would be different.

Just a reminder that new information about the anime will be revealed on March 26th at the AnimeJapan 2023 . We'll be keeping an eye out.
Synopsis:
Subaru Natsuki is an ordinary high school student who suddenly finds himself lost in an alternate world, where he is rescued by a beautiful silver-haired girl. He stays close to her to repay the favor, but the destiny she carries is more than Subaru can imagine. Enemies attack one by one, and both are killed. He then discovers that he has the power to rewind death, back to the first time he appeared in this world. But only he remembers what happened previously.
Re:Zero, by author Tappei Nagatsuki, originally began publishing the novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in April 2012, featuring 6 arcs and 2 spinoffs. Following its success, Re:Zero received a light novel adaptation in 2014, published by Media Factory under the MF Bunko J imprint, with illustrations by Shin'ichiro Otsuka.
Thus, the first season of the anime aired in April 2016 with 25 episodes, produced by studio White Fox and licensed by Crunchyroll . The second season was divided into 2 parts and premiered in 2020 and 2021.
