Rumor indicates that Nintendo plans a new Super Smash Bros.

Nintendo would be interested in starting the pre-production of a new Super Smash Bros., but the development of the title would depend directly on Masahiro Sakurai, creator of the franchise. According to recent rumors, the company would be respecting Sakurai's time, which currently works at Kirby Air Riders, its latest personal project.

Although there is no official confirmation, it is speculated that the launch of the next Smash could happen only after the new Kirby game was completed, which would have received Nintendo's green light for being an old developer wish.
