Aniplex , through the official website of the anime Ruri no Hōseki, released a new trailer revealing several details about the production. These include the premiere date ( July 6 , 2025), theme songs, voice cast, and production team.
The anime's opening theme will be "Hikari no Sumika" (Home of Light) by Rei Yasuda , while the ending theme is "Sapphire" by Hana Hope . Check out the trailer below:
Regarding the anime production
Studio Bind is producing the anime. The voice actors for the main characters have already been announced, along with their visuals and a brief description of their personalities, see below:
Miyari Nemoto will play Ruri Tanigawa
A high school student who likes shiny things. She meets Nagi and begins to take an interest in the world of mineral collecting.
Asami Seto will be Nagi Arato
She is a graduate student majoring in mineralogy. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience with minerals and passes on the joy of collecting minerals to Ruri.
Yume Miyamoto will be Yōko Imari
She is a fourth-year university student who belongs to the same mineralogy lab as Nagi. She enjoys acquiring knowledge through books and old maps.
Saki Hayashi will play Shōko Seto
Ruri's classmate, she seems to be interested in Ruri, who is collecting minerals…
Misuzu Yamada will play Aoi Kasamaru
Ruri's classmate, one of the friends who often plays with Ruri.

Synopsis of Ruri no Hōseki
The story follows high school student Ruri, a girl who loves minerals and jewels. One day, she meets Nagi, a graduate student in mineralogy, who pulls her into the world of mineralogy and its scientific adventures.
Also known as Introduction to Mineralogy , the work is based on the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Keiichirō Shibuya . The manga was published by Kadokawa in Harta in 2019.
