Shueisha's June Jump Square magazine is announcing that Nobuhiro Watsuki (Buso Renkin) will launch a new Rurouni Kenshin spinoff manga villainous character Shishio Makoto .
The slogan of the ad that was shown says: “ The raising of the flag of evil that evil that fell in love is finally about to be revealed. ” The new work titled Aku no Kioku (Record of Evil ) will be written by Watsuki to accompany the two live-action films that are scheduled for August 1st and September 13th in Japan . Shueisha will reveal more information about the new spinoff in the July issue of Jump Square .
The June issue of Jump Square also revealed that Watsuki will be putting his manga on hiatus . Watsuki plans to resume the series , with the arc in the fall.
