The August issue of Jump Square announces the greenlighting of two more live-action adaptations of Rurouni Kenshin, possibly for next summer in Japan. The film will cover the new Kyoto Arc. Takeru Satoh will once again be reprising his role as Kenshin Himura. We believe the announcement is part of a trilogy if the first film is successful. The sequel does not yet have a release date.
