The official channel for the Rurouni Kenshin has released a new action-packed trailer. The trailer features the theme "Mighty Long Fall" by the band ONE OK ROCK , who also performed the theme song for the first film.
The two new films will cover the Kyoto arc from Nobuhiro Watsuki's original historical action manga.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) will arrive in Japanese theaters on August 1st, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (The Legend Ends) is scheduled to arrive on September 13th. Principal photography for both films wrapped on December 27th, after six months of filming.
