The official website for the Rurouni Kenshin has released a new teaser for the second film. The video features footage of actor Tatsuya Fujiwara as Makoto Shishio. In 2013, two sequels were confirmed, that is, a trilogy.
The two new films will cover the Kyoto arc from Nobuhiro Watsuki's original historical action manga.
Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Taika-hen (Kyoto Inferno) will hit cinemas in Japan on August 1st, and Rurouni Kenshin: Densetsu no Saigo-hen (The Legend Ends) is scheduled to arrive on September 13th. Principal photography on both films ended on December 27, after six months of filming.
