The August issue of Jump Square announces that two more live-action adaptations of Rurouni Kenshin have been greenlit, possibly for release next summer in Japan. The film will cover the new Kyoto Arc. Takeru Satoh will again reprise his role as Kenshin Himura. We believe the announcement is part of a trilogy, should the first film be successful. The sequel does not yet have a release date.
